Welcome back.
Given that that SFU is deprecated in Server 2012 R2 and no longer available in Server 2016, does that have any impact upon Centrify Express or Centrify Server Suite clients?
Nah, you should be fine. Note that even Windows Server 2012 R2 has reached EoL. We are busy tackling some of the challenges of the newest AD version (2016) like shadow groups, expiring links, etc.
Also, since you are using it in Workstation Mode (e.g. Express) in which every principal (user or group) has an identity and every user is able to log in; we don't store any information in AD; we generate UNIX identity on the fly at the agent level. That's why that type of mode is not suitable for medium to large enterprises. That's where the commercial version shines.
