Thanks for getting-back to us with this info.
You mentioned in your original post that the system was cloned. Did the system have Centrify loaded and active before you cloned it? Can you tell me if you ran the adleave command before cloning the system? Did you rename it after it was cloned?
If you did, perhaps that could be the cause of the misleading message.
Can you let us know?
Otherwise we may have to collect some logs.
PS: This should be a given, but you should be at version 5.3.x.
