The Centrify-Cloud-16.4-Security and Known Issues.pdf says the following:

Cannot block access for rich clients in Office 2016 Office 2013 / 2016 thick clients will not work using ADAL as Microsoft does not support this (CC-36869).

Does it mean that we cannot restrict access to Office 2016 / 2013 rich clients at all?

If yes, will that be supported in the near future or are there any workarounds for this?

Or will it be supported if ADAL is not enabled in Office 365?
