Hi Cody,
Thanks for that information. The group policy mentioned can only be "defined or not defined". Currently ours is set to "not defined". Also, when I ran the adbindproxy.pl you mentioned I can't get past the first step, I get the following error.
Please specify Samba's path if it is not in [/usr/lib/] :
Using (/usr/lib/)
Can't open file for reading: /usr/lib//sbin/smbd -b |
/usr/lib/ is not a valid Samba path!
Please specify Samba's path if it is not in [/usr/lib/] :
If I input /usr/ i get the following error. /usr/lib/sbin directory does not exist. smbd is located in /usr/sbin/
Please specify Samba's path if it is not in [/usr/lib/] : /usr/
Using (/usr/)
The Samba base path is : /usr/lib/
/usr/lib/sbin/smbd doesn't exist or is not executable!
nzxadmin@Test1604:/usr/lib$
Whereas the original adbindproxy goes past this step with no problem. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
John
