also just to note.. if we use adobjectrefresh then it will update the info and the user can log in.. but this is a huge PITA to have to do all the time

Also there is no way to reproduce this error its random. the only way we know about it is when a user calls and says they cant login

MacOS Client in disconnected mode

I've done all the tests suggested on KB-1425 and in KB-4208 but the client remains in disconnected mode and the user is unable to change password. Only way to fix this: unbind and rebind on the domain....
